This happened to me the other day when I was connected to a backend data file on my wink drive while I had the database open on my estimator. I removed the flash drive from the figurer and upward came that bulletin well-nigh "Your network access was interrupted ....
Do yous accept a shared backend file on a network server? Is the connection dropping out when you see that message?
If you can't prevent the suspension to the connection to the backend data file, your users need to know why their database won't piece of work.
If you provide some more information about when this error happens, we can assistance yous with more advisable information.

Jeanette,
I was recently working with a client and their IT department decided to motility the backend database to another server. They did information technology without notifying us and, although we didn't get the bulletin the OP got, it did have the unfortunate result of corrupting the backend. I had a "fun time" getting it repaired.

The solution is in the message, close the database and reopen it. The message means that your network connection to the database was lost. either because of a network problem or the database was moved while you had it open. There is nothing else you can do simply close the database on your end and hope the data doesn't become corrupted.
If the problem persists, so contact your IT department to check if there is a problem with your admission to the network.
My network admission in my office is somewhat iffy. And so I exercise all my development on a local drive, because of as well frequently getting this message.

I get this problem too. Every bit far as I take noticed, it only appears when running Admission 2007 on Windows 7 (non on XP for me, and I take tried to replicate information technology). I take tried changing network ports, cables etc to no avail. In my set-up, I take the database dissever, with both parts residing on the aforementioned server. I accept googled extensively for soloutions but yet to notice anything useful (although I did fix other access problems - similar crashing when you lot open tables - by uninstalling the HP protect tools which HP install needlessly on new computers).

Y'all besides need to exist careful using a wink bulldoze in this manner. I've seen beaucoup reports over the past few years nearly information corruption in Admission when using a flash drive in this manner. Apparently many flash drives report that information transfer is consummate when, in fact, it isn't quite, and disconnecting before the transfer is complete is apt to cause corruption.

Apparently many flash drives report that data transfer is consummate
when, in fact, it isn't quite, and disconnecting before the

That is going to happen merely if you pull the Wink drive without
using the SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE icon in the notification area. If
you do it the right way, you'll never lose data.
But I know from experience that well-nigh people don't have a frigging
clue about this and just pull the things when they experience like it.

I take an user with Windows XP SP3 / Admission 2010 version 14.0.5128.5000 (32-bit) who got this error message today while using a database on a mapped server bulldoze.
He uses this database every day and this is the first time he has received the error message. His laptop is docked - i.east. network cable hard wired - so there should non be an issue with his connectedness to the mapped server drive.
Subsequently we ran the Meaty & Repair function, the user reported a table and several queries were missing, which we were able to restore from a backup re-create of the database.
This is the beginning time we have encountered this fault message so I am just looking for information and possible causes/resolutions.

I just experienced this problem for the get-go time. I keep a dev copy of my database on my local bulldoze, make all my changes to it, then re-create it to the production network drive. Earlier I overwrite the existing production database, I make a copy in an archive folder.
While exiting my dev copy, I had a problem and MS Access crashed, and then I reopened the dev database and information technology seemed fine, all my forms and reports worked. I then copied it to the hard drive and gave it the "prod" name. I tried running the "prod" version, and received the to a higher place mentioned error message.
I so reopened my dev copy, ran "compact and repair database", recopied it to prod, renamed it, and STILL got the aforementioned bulletin.
I and so asked another user to open the prod version, and he could open up the "prod" version without a problem. I was doing this successfully as recent as two weeks ago without a problem. I have non updated or inverse my laptop.
I detect it odd that information technology works okay locally, and when copied to the network and renamed, works for someone else, but not me, Any suggestions?
